Therapist & Team Lead: Shana T.

Specialties: Working with children with Autism, teletherapy, and working with children 3-18 years.

I feel it’s imperative to be an advocate for the parents and children during speech as well as providing parents with all the tools and resources necessary to help with the child’s success. Making sure the parents and child feels comfortable during the speech sessions is extremely important. As a team lead, my responsibilities include working together closely with my team as the main contact for day-to-day problem solving and answering questions. Working with office staff on projects and ideas for the company. Also, being part of the interviewing process and training new hires under the direct supervision of the supervising SLP. I feel incredibly grateful to work for L2L. I love that the owner Shaneé has put together an amazing team of great therapists. I also love that at L2L all of our voices and ideas are heard and we come together as a team to provide great ideas for our clients. I enjoy anything that has to do with nature and the outdoors (hiking, snowboarding, running). I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Therapist: Joceline G.

Languages: Fluent in Spanish & English & Basic Sign Language
Specialties: Telehealth & School-Aged Children

As a pediatric therapist, I enjoy working with a variety of children. I have worked with children with language delays to disfluency. Some of my caseloads include working with articulation, pragmatics, expressive/ receptive language, fluency, and helping children use AAC devices. As someone who grew up with a family member who required speech and language services, my goal as a therapist is to provide hope and make a difference in a child’s life. The goal is for both children and their parents to feel confident to socialize and be included during daily activities. As someone who started my therapist journey as an intern with L2L, I can say L2L will always feel like a safe place as a therapist. L2L is run by diverse, strong, and amazing women who care for the well-being of their clients and therapist. During my free time, I enjoy catching up with my favorite movies and shows, going on long walks, and enjoying nature’s beauty.

Therapist: Megan A.

Specialties: Teletherapy, Early Intervention, Autism, Behavior, Language & Literacy, Receptive/Expressive Language Disorders, pragmatics, & Developmental Delays

When my son was diagnosed with autism, I wanted to learn everything I could to help support his development. I was a special education teacher focusing on autism and behavioral disorders and have since become a Speech Therapist. I can relate to parents who have a child with autism as well as the knowledge to support families through therapy. I celebrate my client’s progress toward goals with a great sense of pride. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing these amazing kids build confidence in their communication. I enjoy working at L2L because my clients and I share a common bond: their children. Knowing that my team supports me and the families are supported will always equal success for everyone involved. Language to Learning has an amazing team that works closely to support families and one another. When not working with clients, I spend most of my time with my husband, our four kids, and our dog, Bailee. The majority of our free time is spent attending our children’s sporting events. I also enjoy reading.

I believe in creating a collaborative environment by integrating various strategies, techniques, and resources to meet the needs of my clients. I love working at L2L because I feel respected and valued for what I bring to the company. I enjoy exploring new places, photography, being crafty, and spending time with my family in my spare time.

I love the work environment and the flexibility of my schedule. I love playing sports and spending time with my family.

Administrative Assistant: Stephanie R.

I may not be a therapist and work with the kids directly, but I want to help everything be as smooth as possible for the therapists so they can help the kids they see to the best of their abilities! I believe every kid should have the same chances as any other in life, and being able to work for a company that can help many kids do this is incredible! This job helps me grow and gives me new challenges to learn and progress in many ways! I help with scheduling new clients or rescheduling existing clients. Taking phone calls from parents, I also help with billing and ensuring we have things in place for the client’s services, along with just helping with whatever the therapists need to ensure things go smoothly. I spend time with my family, go to amusement parks, or watch a favorite TV show in my free time.
