We offer these speech and language therapy services along with parent advocacy and coaching for families, in their homes, community, school, and virtually. Our team includes an array of well-trained speech therapists, who offer services with compassion and support while encouraging families and children to find their “voice,” using a fun and interactive approach. We specialize in: 

  • Developmental Disorders and Delays: A child that does not neemt developmental milestones at a typical rate as other children which include, motor, play, cognition, speech and language, and social skills.
  • Social Skills: A child who may have a need to grow with communication with others in a way that builds positive and healthy interactions, using coherent thoughts and ideas expressively.
  • Articulation/Phonology: A child having difficulty moving their tongue, lips, teeth, and jaw to produce clear speech.
  • Literacy: A child’s ability to read and write for success in school, community, and home settings.
  • Autism and other related disorders: A neurodevelopmental disorders with deficits in social communication & social interaction with stereotypical & repetitive behaviors. Disorders closely related to Autism include- Fragile X Syndrome, Angelman Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, Landau-Kleffner Syndrome, & Prader-Willi Syndrome.
  • Neurodiversity: a concept where neurological differences are to be recognized and respected as any other human variation.
  • Language Learning Disorders: A child with difficulties understanding and use of spoken and written language. A child with weak language skills in comprehension and communication which impacts academic success.
  • Executive Functioning Skills: A child with difficulties in time management, planning, organizing, and problem-solving tasks.
  • Augmentative Communication/AAC: Implementation and continued use of sign language, pictures and the use of speech generating devices to communicate.
  • Pediatric Dysphagia: A child who demonstrates difficulty with eating activities which include, avoidance or restrictions, self-feeding, and feeding inappropriate behaviors.
  • PROPMT: The use of a multidimensional approach to speech production disorders has come to embrace not only the well-known physical-sensory aspects of motor performance, but also its cognitive-linguistic and social-emotional aspects.
  • Multilingualism: Speech and language services are provided by therapists who speak more than one language. Our therapist and office staff speak a variety of languages including: Spanish and Koren.
  • Multiculturalism & Decolonization: The embrace of cultures and ethinic groups practices in our sessions utilizing books, family enanagment, and activities centered around specific family’s cultural practices. We embody a decolonized approach to our therapeutic treatment to meet the needs of the families we serve who identify as low-income or minority.
