Language to Leaning is a non-public agency certified through the California Department of Education. Language to Learning partners with local education agencies through California. We provide virtual and in-person speech services by qualified speech and language therapists. 

We offer occupational therapy by Certified Occupational therapists and Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI) by certified special education teachers. We offer IEP Case management, screenings, and evaluations. 

The therapist and the student participate in a two-way video conference on a HIPPA and FERPA compliant video platform. The platform includes screen-sharing, remote mouse, and drawing capabilities. The therapist and the client each have their own digital technology, either a tablet or computer that they use to interact in order to share audio, video, data, and images. Therapy is conducted in real-time. Telepractice is flexible and can be done with a wonderful Language to Learning therapists from wherever the student is. 

Families FAQs

We currently accept some insurance. Please refer to the ‘Insurance’ page under the ‘About’ tab, to see all the insurance we currently take.

If we do not accept your insurance: You will be provided with a superbill monthly to submit to your insurance company as an out-of-network insurance provider. It will contain the necessary information including diagnosis and treatment codes, session times, fees paid, and description of services provided. We will also provide you with progress reports to submit to your insurance company as well.

A superbill is an itemized list of all services provided to the client. Superbill containing all the information needed for insurance companies to create a healthcare claim. This is provided to you for reimbursement purposes for the services provided.

Yes, we do provide in-home services. Language to Learning has experienced providers able to provide services in Connecticut, Research Triangle Park (Durham, Raleigh, & Wake Forest) in North Carolina, and throughout the greater Los Angeles region. Services can be provided in various locations (i.e. home, park, library, school, or virtually).

Teletherapy FAQs

Please Book a Consult with us to begin the process. Once you book a free consultation we will determine if an evaluation is required.

Each consultation is 20- 30 minutes.

A 45-minute evaluation is done. The therapist will write up a report with goals and objectives within a two week time frame. At the time of the evaluation, the therapist will let you know the recommended service time per week.

Services can be booked directly on our website. Click the book a session tab for once or twice a week. You will be directed to pay through Paypal.

If you do not see your insurance listed, please refer to the Families FAQ’s’ page under the ‘Services’ tab.

We require at least 24 hours notice for canceling a session. If the session is not canceled prior to 24-hour you will be required to pay for the session.

You can stop services at any time. Just let us know and we will stop invoicing from being sent to you.
